In this video, I show you a collection of beginner stretches that I have found to best alleviate some of the common causes of tightness in the lower back, ultimately resulting in chronic pain if not addressed. Tight muscles in the back of the legs, hip flexors, and glutes can cause postural deviations, movement compensations, and even added strain and loading of the lower back. Adding stretches like these to your daily routine can go a long way in reducing the tightness of the muscles in these areas.
