We hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season with family and friends. With more parties coming up for the remaining holiday season and NFL playoffs, you may be looking for ways to have some healthier options to serve. Try this high-protein dip recipe to make those veggies or chips and dip trays a better choice. This is a quick and simple way to make your dip option packed with protein.
- 1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 2-4 Tablespoons of hummus
For plain Greek yogurt, you can use anywhere from fat-free to whole fat depending upon how rich you want the flavor. You can change the ratio of Greek yogurt to hummus to either intensify the flavor or make it more mild. You can also try substituting the hummus with ranch mix-ins or taco seasoning packets for some different flavor options. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can add your own blend of seasonings. Using Greek yogurt as your base instead of sour cream or regular yogurt provides a huge boost in protein to dip your veggies or chips in at the next party. The additional protein will help with feeling full to make it easier to control those portions and have less fat and sugar than the premade dips from the store!
Enjoy!
