From 2-5 private personal training sessions per week, on your schedule, with your 1:1 personal trainer, you will work toward your physical performance goals.

John Winters

John Winters has been transforming lives as a personal trainer and health coach since 2002. With a degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University, certifications as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and additional training in life coaching and holistic nutrition from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, John brings a comprehensive and empathetic approach to fitness and wellness.

In 2011, John founded Lifestyle Performance Training, where he empowers clients to go beyond surface-level fitness goals and create lasting transformations. His journey hasn’t just been professional—it’s deeply personal. From overcoming serious health challenges like degenerative disc disease and back surgery to reestablishing his business with non-negotiable boundaries for health and family time, John has lived the struggles his clients face. This personal experience, combined with over two decades of expertise, allows him to deeply understand the unique obstacles and mindset shifts required for lasting success.

John’s mission is simple: to help others develop the skills, habits, and confidence to not only achieve their goals but to sustain them for life. Whether guiding someone through weight loss, navigating health concerns, or building strength and resilience, John meets his clients where they are and helps them become the healthiest, most vibrant version of themselves.

Austin Storbeck

Austin Storbeck

Austin Storbeck has been a Personal Trainer since 2018. He has a degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Dakota. Austin has worked with people of all ages and enjoys making connections with people. He is very passionate about getting his clients on the right path and motivating them to reach their goals. His step-by-step approach to reaching goals, makes it easy to understand how to accomplish them. Austin is very knowledgeable on proper form and technique and takes pride in injury prevention. Outside of personal training, Austin enjoys lifting weights, running, hiking, sports, traveling, and hanging out with friends.

Lifestyle Performance Training in Tempe, AZ has been delivering results since we opened in 2011. Our goal is to provide both a superior customer experience and tremendous value for our customers. Beyond personal training, our background in energy work (like Reiki and hypnotherapy) only enhances your experience and results.
